Jumping on the ‘masquerade ball’ AU bandwagon that literally EVERYONE in this fandom is on. No complaints, though, I love me some good ol’ masquerade ball scenarios. Basically, Chat and Ladybug patrol big city events because emotions are always running high at these functions and there is a large chance of someone being villainized, and it just so happens their next big function is a masquerade ball. Feat. gratuitous ‘quick someone’s chasing us kiss me to appear inconspicuous’ scenes, because I can.
I also wanted to do a quick doodle of Adrien spotting Ladybug’s dress design in Marinette’s sketchbook and being like ‘whoa! Ladybug commissioned you for her dress?!’ (because let’s face it, he would, these idiots don’t have a suspicious bone in their body), but in the end I couldn’t be bothered
