Ok I got this dumb idea while thinking about Gold’s title as the “Breeder” and baby Pokemon and babies came to mind so I did this…
I know a lot of people depict Gold as completely reckless (which he is mostly) but I think he’d be great with kids.. ya. Tbh I can totally see Gold doing this HAHAHA

For the first few weeks/months they know each other, Kris cannot, for the life of her, remember Silver’s name properly.
She starts off calling him Shiba シバ (”I’m not a dog, asshole!”).
Then Kinzoku 金属 because she remembers that his name is a metal, but that’s about it.
Then Gin 銀, because she doesn’t remember the English word for it, but she knows that that’s what his name is supposed to be.
They both get excessively excited when she calls him by the right name (without correction) for the first time.
Because apparently a lot of people named him “???” first time round without realizing you could actually give him a name and I still think that’s funny as hell.
