Lets not forget “forgive me for leaving you like this…” and “SHUT UP HE DIDN’T ABANDON ME!” Just imagine how hard of a decision it must’ve been for him to leave her battling on her own. He didn’t want to give her any trouble, then that happened and just… and then she just sort of understood what he had to do and man i wonder how much Arianna’s words messed with her… and she was trying to hurt crys on a “I’ll break your heart” sense. I wonder if she thought they were together… (i have a lotta feels for the HG/SS chapter)
